The width of the art piece needed to be 42" wide and 36 " in height. The client wanted various textures in the piece as well as colors to make a statement. The concept centered around flowers and a specific verse from the bible.<br /><br />I used acrylic paint on canvas to create the artwork. I then used a piece of birch board about .5 inch thick to create the background border. There is a 6 inch border around the entire piece and the lettering is 2 inched in width. The board was stained with a dark lime green color.
